Weekend pricing at F9 is not the weekday rate with a surcharge bolted on. At every circuit the format changes as well: weekdays are sold in laps, weekends in minutes. That one swap explains most of the gap on your bill, and it explains why the go karting weekend price Gurgaon tracks quote is not really a surcharge at all. It is a different product.
Below are the actual weekend rates for the six circuits, the reason the pricing model changes, the two tracks where the difference is smallest, and the packages that quietly beat the single-session price.

The go karting weekend price Gurgaon drivers pay, circuit by circuit
Every F9 rate card publishes a weekday and a weekend column. These are the weekend figures, inclusive of 18% GST.
- Track 01, Sector 17/18: 11 minutes ₹800, 18 minutes ₹1,200, 35 minutes ₹2,100. Weekday equivalent: 16 laps ₹700, 22 laps ₹800, 34 laps ₹1,100.
- Track 02, Sector 59: 15 minutes ₹1,100, 30 minutes ₹2,100. Weekday: 10 laps ₹900, 15 laps ₹1,100.
- Track 03, Baghpat: private hire only, ₹150,000 for a full day and ₹75,000 for five hours, whatever the day.
- Track 04, GT Karnal Road: 12 minutes ₹900, 18 minutes ₹1,200, 30 minutes ₹2,000. Weekday: 12 laps ₹900, 18 laps ₹1,100.
- Tracks 05 and 06, Sector 68 and Dwarka Expressway: 12 minutes ₹1,100, 15 minutes ₹1,200, 30 minutes ₹2,200. Weekday: 10 laps ₹900, 15 laps ₹1,100.
Notice that the entry price at Sector 17/18 rises from ₹700 to ₹800, a 14% increase, while at GT Karnal Road it does not move at all. The circuits are not applying a uniform weekend surcharge, because they are not selling the same product.
Why the format changes from laps to minutes
A lap is a fixed unit only if the track is clear. On a busy weekend the queue on a short circuit makes lap counts unstable: a driver held behind a slower kart completes fewer laps per minute, and the venue either refunds time or absorbs the complaint. Minutes are the honest unit under those conditions, because the clock does not care who is in front of you.
There is a second reason. Weekend demand is higher, so track time has to be rationed to fit everyone in. Selling minutes lets a venue guarantee a slot length and keep the queue moving, which is why the weekend columns appear at every circuit rather than just one.
The consequence for you is straightforward. On a weekday you are buying a target. At the weekend you are buying a duration. If the lap count is what matters, book a weekday. If a fixed slot is what matters, the weekend format is cleaner.
Which circuit has the smallest weekend gap
GT Karnal Road at Bhigan is the outlier. Twelve laps on a weekday costs ₹900 and twelve minutes at the weekend costs ₹900. The Sector 17/18 Link Road circuit is next closest, moving from ₹700 to ₹800 at entry level, which is a small step for the shortest track in the network.
The widest percentage jump is at Sector 68 and Dwarka Expressway, where entry goes from ₹900 for 10 weekday laps to ₹1,100 for 12 weekend minutes, up 22%. Those are also two of the longer circuits in the network at 1,050 and 900 metres, so the extra money buys more road rather than less.
How to pay less without losing the session
- Take the six-kart package at Sector 17/18. ₹6,600 buys 18 minutes each for six karts, which is ₹1,100 a driver. Six separate 11-minute weekend sessions would be ₹4,800, but that is 66 minutes of combined track time against 108. Per minute the package is cheaper, about ₹61 against ₹73.
- Use the group rate at Sector 68 or Dwarka Expressway. Twelve karts costs ₹35,500 at the weekend, roughly ₹2,958 a driver. Twenty karts costs ₹52,000, roughly ₹2,600 a driver. The larger grid is the cheaper seat.
- Shorten one session rather than cutting a driver. Dropping from 18 to 12 weekend minutes at Sector 17/18 saves ₹400 a head, which usually matters more to a group than trimming the grid.
- Switch the day, not the format. The same 30 minutes at Sector 59 is ₹2,100 at the weekend. Midweek it is ₹1,100 for 15 laps, and you get a defined lap count for half the money.
- Use five hours at Baghpat instead of a full day. ₹75,000 instead of ₹150,000, a 50% saving, and for a half-day event five hours is usually the entire programme.
- Practise midweek, celebrate at the weekend. If the session is about lap times, book the cheaper weekday format. If it is a birthday or an office outing, the weekend slot is what people will remember.
Is a weekday cheaper, or just priced differently?
Both. At entry level the weekday figure is lower at four of the five walk-in circuits. But the units differ, so the honest comparison is cost per minute of track time, and that needs one assumption: how long a lap takes on the circuit you are visiting. On the 450-metre Sector 17/18 loop, laps come round quickly and a lap count builds fast. On the 1,050-metre Sector 68 circuit, every lap is a longer run, so a 10-lap weekday session there is more road than it sounds.
The practical rule is this. On short circuits, buy laps. On long circuits, buy time. That single rule keeps the weekend difference from mattering as much as the rate card makes it appear.
What every rate already includes
Every session includes the briefing, the helmet and the kart allocation, and every published rate at F9 includes 18% GST. There is no separate tax line waiting at the counter and no weekend admin charge hidden behind the headline figure.
What does change with the day is availability. Weekend slots at the shorter circuits are the first to go, particularly for large groups, so a group booking is better confirmed well ahead rather than assembled on the day.
Frequently asked questions
Why is go karting more expensive at the weekend?
Higher demand and a different unit of sale. Weekends are sold in minutes so every driver gets a fixed slot, and the entry rate at most circuits sits 10% to 22% above the weekday rate.
Which F9 track is cheapest at the weekend?
Sector 17/18 on the Link Road, where 11 minutes is ₹800. GT Karnal Road follows at ₹900 for 12 minutes, with no weekend uplift over its weekday rate at all.
Can I get the weekday rate at the weekend?
No. The weekday and weekend rate cards are separate, and the format is tied to the card. The way to pay a weekday rate is to visit on a weekday.
Is a longer session better value?
Usually yes, and by a wide margin. At Sector 17/18, 35 weekend minutes works out at ₹60 a minute against ₹73 for the 11-minute option. The same pattern holds at every circuit.
