A go karting birthday party cost is one multiplication and one list. The multiplication is karts times the rate for the session length you want. The list is everything the rate does not include, which is where most party budgets drift.
This page gives you both, using the published rates at the five F9 circuits that take birthday bookings.

The go karting birthday party cost, circuit by circuit
Rates below are from the F9 birthday booking tables, inclusive of 18% GST. They are per kart for the group, not per person.
- Sector 17/18, six karts: 18 minutes ₹6,600, 35 minutes ₹11,500, 50 minutes ₹15,000.
- Sector 59, six karts: 30 minutes ₹11,500, 60 minutes ₹19,500.
- Sector 59, twelve karts: 30 minutes ₹20,500, 60 minutes ₹35,500.
- Sector 59, twenty karts: 30 minutes ₹31,500, 60 minutes ₹51,500.
- Sector 68 and Dwarka Expressway, twelve karts: 30 minutes ₹21,000, 60 minutes ₹35,500.
- Sector 68 and Dwarka Expressway, twenty karts: 30 minutes ₹32,000, 60 minutes ₹52,000.
- Baghpat: private hire only, ₹75,000 for five hours or ₹150,000 for a full day.
Baghpat is the outlier. It is not sold per kart, so it only makes sense when the event is the venue rather than a session, such as a company day or a shoot.
What that works out to per driver
Per-driver figures are what a parent or an organiser actually budgets, so here is the same data divided.
- Sector 17/18, six karts: ₹1,100, ₹1,917 or ₹2,500 a driver across the three lengths.
- Sector 59, six karts, 60 minutes: ₹3,250 a driver.
- Sector 59, twelve karts, 60 minutes: ₹2,958 a driver.
- Sector 59, twenty karts, 60 minutes: ₹2,575 a driver.
- Sector 68 or Dwarka, twenty karts, 60 minutes: ₹2,600 a driver.
The pattern is consistent across every circuit: the price per driver falls as the grid grows. Going from six karts to twenty at Sector 59 cuts ₹675 a driver on a sixty-minute session, which is more than the cost of the cake.
What the rate includes, and what it never covers
Every birthday rate covers the track time, the kart, the helmet and the safety briefing. Spectators do not need a kart, so the watching parents and siblings cost nothing on the bill.
What the rate does not cover is everything around the driving: food, cake, decorations, a table to eat at. Birthdays at F9 are built to order rather than sold off a fixed menu, so those items are quoted with the package instead of being published as a list price. That is the honest answer, and it is also why two parties with the same kart count can cost different amounts.
The practical consequence is that you should carry two numbers into the conversation: the kart budget, which you can calculate from the table above, and a figure for the rest, which the venue confirms when you enquire. Ask for both in the same call rather than discovering the second one later.
How to keep the go karting birthday party cost down
- Go midweek. Weekday rates are lower at every circuit, and the format is sold in laps rather than minutes, so the session has a target rather than just a clock.
- Take the twenty-kart grid if you can fill it. It has the lowest per-driver price on the network.
- Use thirty minutes rather than sixty for a first group. Half the session length costs roughly 60% of the sixty-minute price at Sector 59, and most first-time groups are ready to stop at half an hour.
- Choose the circuit nearest the guests. Travel is a real cost, and a party at the far end of the city loses attendance.
- Book the six-kart package at Sector 17/18 if the group is small. ₹6,600 for 18 minutes is the lowest entry point in the network.
- Skip Baghpat unless the venue is the point. ₹75,000 for five hours is a different category of spend from a karting session.
What to have ready before you enquire
Four numbers decide the package, and having them in front of you shortens the conversation to a single call.
- Drivers. Not guests, drivers. A party of twenty where twelve drive is a twelve-kart booking.
- Circuit. The one nearest the group, or the one with the right grid size.
- Session length. Thirty minutes for a first group, sixty for drivers who have been before.
- Date and a backup date. Weekend slots at the larger grids are the first to go.
Anything beyond those four, such as food or decorations, is a second conversation about what the venue can arrange.
Does the time of year matter?
Gurgaon summers are hot and all six circuits are outdoors, so a birthday that falls in May needs more thought than one in December. Heat affects concentration more than it affects the karts, and a group that is tired after twenty minutes will not enjoy the last ten.
Two practical responses. First, book a shorter session when the weather is against you rather than pushing through a longer one. Second, make sure the guests know the venue is outdoors so they turn up dressed for it. A birthday in the monsoon needs a backup plan, because a session cannot run on a wet circuit.
How the day usually runs
The shape is the same at every circuit. The group arrives, and the first thing that happens is not driving: it is the briefing, which covers the flags, the braking rules and what to do if you spin. Helmets are issued, karts are allocated, and the session is timed from the moment the group is strapped in.
Then the driving, in one block or split into heats. A split is worth asking about for a group of twelve or more, because it turns the session into something the spectators can follow rather than twenty minutes of watching karts go past. If the plan includes food or cake, it comes after the driving, since nobody wants to eat and then put a helmet on.
The last decision is the one people forget: who is taking the group photo, and whether anyone has a phone with enough charge to do it.
Frequently asked questions
Is a go karting birthday party cost per person or per kart?
Per kart. The package is quoted against a kart count, and how many people watch from the barrier does not change the price.
What is the cheapest birthday package at F9?
The six-kart package at Sector 17/18, where 18 minutes costs ₹6,600 for the group. Twelve or twenty karts at Sector 59 or Sector 68 costs more in total but less per driver.
How many people can come if only six are driving?
As many as the venue can hold at the barrier. Only drivers need a kart, so extra guests are a question for the venue rather than a line on the bill.
Do we need to book ahead?
For a weekend, or for a grid larger than six, yes. Large groups use most of the track at once, so they take the most notice.
